Bigg Bizz was a coverband I played in between 1988 and 1990. It was a rather succesfull coverband in the student world of Eindhoven and surroundings. We used to play a lot of the 80s classics during that time.

Songs we played were by bands like Dire Straits, Don Henley, Mother's Finest, Franky Goes to Holiwood, The Simple Minds, Aretha Franklin, Peter Gabriel, John Mellencamp, Whitesnake, Clearence Clearwater Revival and a bunch more that I probably forgot.

Too bad I can't put samples of how we performed those songs here without permission of the above artists.
This period has had a great influence on the way I look at music. By covering songs of people I like and those I don't really like, I started to discover songwriting techniques of these artists.
The result of my research in songwriting is the writing I started to do in Broken Chord and more extensively in Back In Bizz and the Lime Creek Sessions.
This will always remain a nostalgic period, the times with Bigg Bizz, and the friendships that resulted in.
